This means you’re still targeting Legacy Clients who drain you, pay you as an order taker, & shop on price. Fix Your Offer to… — Laser Target premium Lighthouse Clients — With differentiated positioning — Showing up where they are — To get paid for expertise — With scalable offers 2. 🌱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄 Most agencies and solopreneurs vastly undercharge. (how do you like the word “vastly”…not bad, right?) You heard you need to charge more. But you don’t know how to handle pricing objections. Or roll out new rates. Look like a freelancer, get paid freelancer rates. Look like a founder, get paid premium retainers. 3. 🤑 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗶𝗻 You’re getting leads but then you’re also… — Not converting them to prospects — Not engaging in sales conversations — Not moving them to close won deals In my agency, my deals started in the six figures. I’ve worked with thousands of entrepreneurs for decades and this is the biggest problem in business: (and yes, you’re doing it, too) Overbuilding before validation. 𝘕𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨? How about these… — Launching a new offer without a go-to-market plan — Building out a fancy website without any traffic — Hiring a VA / employee without systems The cost of overbuilding? — Hundreds of hours — Tens of thousands of dollars* — Emotional and intellectual capital drained * If not more. Why does it happen so often? A lack of way to measure and repeat success. Put another way: a lack of systems. When I work with an agency founder or consultant, we focus on 3 key systems to scale offers to $1M+ ARR: 1. A marketing system to attract 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. 2. A sales system to close deals with scalable offers. 3. A delivery system to get paid without face time. When you have even just one of these systems? You won’t overbuild. A 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 in sales, for example, lets you identify what's NOT working. DMs and emails but no Discovery Calls? ↳ You don’t know your Lighthouse Client's pain points. Closing Calls but no signed contracts? ↳ You don’t have a Pitch to Win. So don’t overbuild anymore. Validate earlier. How bad do you want it. Business breakout is rarely linear or about luck. Here’s an example: In 1997, a then-relatively unknown broadcaster drove to ask Tiger Woods for an interview. Tiger had become the youngest to win the Masters. It was over a 3-hour drive. He didn’t have an invite. And this wouldn't be the interview itself. Just the request for the interview. After nabbing a near-exclusive? He thought he’d get five minutes. He got 45 minutes. And later he went on to be hired by ESPN. That guy? His name is Scott Van Pelt…yes, SVP, the legend. Arguably the biggest name at ESPN today. He would have done just fine in his career. But he wanted it bad. (and no, this wasn't done to get hired by ESPN either) He made it happen. So...stop wondering, "what if". Because I can tell you… My book deal in 2009 came from a cold email. My first high-profile clients started with a friendly chat. My $5M agency began on a small desk in 700 sq. ft. Please… — Send the email. — Start a conversation. — Begin the dream. No one is going to hand success to you on a platter.
